Award winning bodyshop group

The Alton Cars group has been collecting prestigious body repair industry awards and approvals since 1979, and was awarded the
Bodyshop Magazine Independent Bodyshop of the Year in 2009/10.

In 2008, the Leeds-based company became the first ever UK bodyshop to hold the ‘triple crown’, winning the Bodyshop Magazine Independent Bodyshop of the Year, AM Magazine Bodyshop of the Year and Motor Trader Bodyshop of the Year awards all simultaneously.

In the same year, Group Managing Director Tony Parish was also named the ABP Club Body Repair Industry Knight, in recognition for his commitment to developing standards and his achievements within the industry.

In 2007, Alton Cars was named AM Magazine’s Bodyshop of the Year, while in 2006 the company won the Motor Trader Bodyshop of the Year accolade.

After a two year period without entering for an award, the company is set to re-enter the fray in 2012, with applications for both industry, and also local business awards.
